    Post-conference workshop at the Society for Integrative Oncology's annual conference

    This workshop will provide an introduction to both PROMIS and NIH Toolbox, including an overview of item response theory (IRT) and computer adaptive tests (CATs). The workshop will also cover: 1) guidelines for selecting outcome measures tailored for a specific purpose; 2) case studies in clinical practice and research, highlighting utilization of different data collection technologies; 3) factors to consider when selecting assessment technologies; 4) resources available for implementing PROMIS and NIH Toolbox.

    Intro to PROMIS, IRT, and CAT

    How does PROMIS fit into clinical or research settings?  Want to learn to administer computer adaptive tests (CATs) and short forms?

    This is a one-day training appropriate for researchers and clinicians who are new to item response theory (IRT), patient-reported outcomes, and integrating PROMIS measures into research and clinical workflows.

    The cost is $250 for the PROMIS Training and $250 for the NIH Toolbox® Training Workshop, or we will offer a $400 discounted package if you register for both the PROMIS and NIH Toolbox® Training Workshops.
